Dr. Don Nations

Don is the founder of DNA Coaching. Supported by specialists in education, research, digital media, statistics and analysis, he coordinates the work of DNA Coaching and serves as its Lead Coach.

He is a graduate of Florida Southern College (B.S.), Asbury Theological Seminary (M. Div.) and Columbia Theological Seminary (D. Min.) and has extensive training in consulting, assessment, psychology and coaching leaders.  He served as a Pastor for 17 years and successfully led turn-around efforts in several congregations.  Don also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Argosy University.

Don has personally worked with hundreds of clients and thousands have used material produced by DNA Coaching.  He has worked with individual leaders as well as large organizations with hundreds of locations and total revenue of over $70,000,000.

Don is married to Susan and they have four sons and a daughter. Susan is an elementary literacy coach, author, speaker and national consultant in the field of early childhood literacy and reading instruction. She was also named “Teacher of the Year” for her school system in 2004.  He is an active pilot and holds a Private Pilot License (single-engine, land), an Instrument Rating and complex and tailwheel endorsements.

Dan Callahan

Dan has 17 years of professional experience managing retail organizations in a variety of economic conditions.  He has been successful in turning around multiple retail locations and driving them to operational excellence. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands.  He is a certified training facilitator.

He has served as a regional sales trainer where he was responsible for delivering training courses as well as developing new courses on an as needed basis.  He had the responsibility of training approximately 200-300 employees from 22 different retail locations spread across 5 states.  He successfully developed and delivered a first ever new hire sales training course which ended up being used in all regions nationwide.  He was frequently invited to be a guest facilitator in other regions and departments.

In addition to training, Dan has served as a sales manager over multiple retail locations.  Routinely he was called on to take on locations that were in need of turning around.  As a manager he was recognized as a national leader in sales, inventory management and overall operational excellence.  In one instance, he led a retail location in College Station, TX to a 67% sales increase from one year to the next.  Dan and his teams were recognized nationally for Platinum and Diamond level sales achievement.

In his success, the one constant has always been to provide outstanding customer service.  He knows that putting the customer first will always result in successful sales.  The locations he has managed have all received outstanding ratings for their level of customer service.

Dan lives in Williamsburg, KY and in his free time he enjoys travel, golf and being outdoors.
